Colleen Mullins holds an MFA from the University of Minnesota, and a BA from San Francisco State University. She is a two-time recipient of the McKnight Artist Fellowship, a four-time recipient of the Minnesota State Arts Board Grant, and a recipient of the Women's Studio Workshop Production Grant, with which she produced a limited edition artist book, Opening Day. Her work is in several public collections including the Ogden Museum of Southern Art and the Southeast Museum of Photography, and has been published in periodicals internationally, including Korea Photo, People’s Photography, and PDN.
