Jessica Wilkerson is a writer and historian from East Tennessee. She is the author of To Live Here, You Have to Fight: How Women Led Appalachian Movements for Social Justice (2019). She is currently completing her second book, A Women's History of Appalachia. She teaches at West Virginia University.
