Julian Rankin is the author of Catfish Dream: Ed Scott’s Fight for his Family Farm and Racial Justice in the Mississippi Delta, a James Beard Foundation Book Award nominee, and the recipient of the 2019 nonfiction award from the Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters. He is the director of the Walter Anderson Museum of Art.
