Kamille D. Whittaker is a journalism professor at Clark Atlanta University and co-founder of the journalism nonprofit Canopy Atlanta. She most recently served as managing editor of Atlanta Magazine, and she’s currently researching the Caribbean presence in the South through a narrative storytelling project called Perhaps, to Bloom.
