Kate Elizabeth Fowler is a photographer and filmmaker from Richmond, Virginia. She holds a BFA in Photography & Filmmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University and is currently Director of the Appalachian Media Institute, a project of the media arts center Appalshop in Whitesburg, Kentucky.
