Leah Nelson is a qualitative researcher, policy analyst, and writer who has lived in Montgomery, Alabama since 2010. Her work has appeared in The Marshall Project, The Columbia Journalism Review, Crooks & Liars, Alabama Daily News, CNN, and in the 2024 Proceedings of the AAAI/ACM conference on AI, Ethics, and Society.
