Maudy Benz

Maudy Benz imagines that she would be “a Western singer in a star-covered dress like Dale Evans,” if she weren’t so busy writing. Her literary efforts have been seen in Southern Poetry Review, Farmer’s Market,
and Sing Heavenly Muse!, while a story is forthcoming in Ontario Review. During high school, Ms. Benz wrote a secret novel about a Northern boy who falls in love with a Southern girl. “It’s haunting me and I want to write it again. If I do, I’ll call it Love Between the States.”
