Ned Randolph

Ned Randolph writes about culture and the environment in the Gulf South. He is currently working on a book about the politics of “net-zero” in a fossil fuel–captured state like Louisiana. He received his PhD from the University of California San Diego and is a visiting scholar at Tulane University in New Orleans, where he’s taught courses on politics, environmental communication, and journalism. His first book, Muddy Thinking in the Mississippi River Delta: A Call for Reclamation, explores the murky histories of South Louisiana and the Mississippi River Delta region.
