Rachel Boillot is a photographer and documentary filmmaker based in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. She received her BA and BFA from Tufts University and earned her MFA at Duke University. Her artwork documents both disappearing and newly emergent facets of American culture, particularly in the South, where she makes her home.
