Robert Greene II is an assistant professor of history at Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He is the co-editor of the book Invisible No More: The African American Experience at the University of South Carolina and has written for the Oxford American, the Nation, Jacobin, and Scalawag, among other publications. He also serves as the president of the African American Intellectual History Society.
