Treasure Shields Redmond is a Cave Canem fellow and a sought-after performer who has published poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. She holds an MFA from the University of Memphis and a PhD from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Redmond’s book, chop: a collection of kwansabas for fannie lou hamer, was published in 2015.
