Negro Leagues Baseball Museum

Kansas City is home to the world’s only museum dedicated to preserving the rich history of African American baseball. The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, which is two blocks from where the Negro National League was established in 1920, celebrates the sport’s impact on the social advancement of America.

America’s National Churchill Museum

America’s National Churchill Museum in Fulton brings the story of Winston Churchill to life through the imaginative and innovative use of technology. It was at Westminster College in Fulton where Churchill delivered the “Iron Curtain” speech in 1946. Westminster College commemorated this historic moment by moving a Christopher Wren church from London to Fulton. Beneath the church is the museum, which was designated by Congress in 2009.
