Jasmin Pittman Morrell is a writer and editor living in Asheville, North Carolina. She holds an MFA in narrative nonfiction writing from the University of Georgia. Her work can be found in The Bitter Southerner, Meeting at the Table: African-American Women Write On Race, Culture, and Community, and the forthcoming Bigger Than Bravery: Black Resilience and Reclamation in a Time of Pandemic, edited by Valerie Boyd. She is the 2022 winner of the Rose Post Creative Nonfiction Competition, sponsored by the North Carolina Writers’ Network.
