John Lewis, a frequent contributor to The Oxford American, has also written for the Washington Post, Rolling Stone, Spin, VH-1 On-Line, and the Swiss music publication Vibrations. Mr. Lewis also contributed to We Rock, So You Don’t Have To, the first in a series of anthologies from the recently discontinued alternative-rock magazine Option. He lives in Cambridge, Maryland, with his wife, Anne, and his one-year-old daughter, Naomi Rose.
