John Ramsey Miller was born in Greenville, Mississippi and grew up in Cleveland and Starkville. His first suspense novel, The Last Family, will be published in June by Bantam Books and is already being enthusiastically discussed in Hollywood. He is now completing his second novel, The Down Dogs, which earned him a one million dollar advance. He lives in Concord, North Carolina with his wife and three sons.
