Julia Reed is a senior writer for Vogue and lives in a variety of places: New Orleans, New York, and Tellisford, England. Ms. Reed loves to cook and entertain. “When I had my first apartment in Washington, I had dinner parties all the time and I used to cook all this chic food until finally my mother said, ‘Why don’t you just give people food that tastes really good?’ To me that’s the definition of what Southern food is.”
