A recipient of fellowships from the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center, the Wisconsin Institute of Creative Writing, and the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation, her work can be found in the Boston Review, PEN America, Tin House and elsewhere. She is from central Virginia.
