About
Mesha Maren is the author of the novel Sugar Run and the recipient of the 2015 Thomas Wolfe Fiction Prize and a 2014 Elizabeth George Foundation grant, among other honors. She is the 2018-19 Kenan Visiting Writer at UNC Chapel Hill and serves as a National Endowment for the Arts Writing Fellow at the Beckley Federal Correctional Institution.
